Under
the direction of Rutgers University President Richard
McCormick and Vice President Philip Furmanski, the Transportation
Coordinating Council (TCC) has been reformed. The TCC
is a University initiative to bring all of the different
transportation aspects here at Rutgers together. With
Dr. Ali Maher and Martin Robins as the co-chairs of
the Council, the TCC is tying in the School of Engineering
with the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and
Public Safety. The TCC has solidified a long standing
relationship for these two transportation organizations
to work together, thus uniting the School of planning
with the School of Engineering, bringing a distanced
partnership closer together in order to accomplish research
tasks and projects. The TCC is bringing all the transportation
aspects at Rutgers together as one unified group.
